JINJA PASEO PANELS
BUILT WORK

SHADY MARKETING.
At Jinja's second location a series of south facing windows were in need of solar protection. After a lengthy conversation with the Owner and Manager it was understood that they were not looking for a traditional shade structure but something that would transport diners away with graphics that evoked the culinary style of the restaurant. Working with an artist out of Santa Fe and a local steel fabricator, four, 8x3 panels were designed and erected. As part of the project, the fabric awnings were also upgraded, refreshing the entire south elevation.
Acting as lead, I designed and detailed the frames while also coordinating the entire production / installation team. Schedule and timing were important given the restaurant remained active during install which also took place during the busy Holiday season.
