This course serves as an introduction to principles of urban design and planning through an exploration of a series of multi-scaled architectural projects that
examine public goals and constraints, urban infrastructure and fabric,
sustainability, and historical and socio-cultural issues.

ADVANCED REVIT (ARCH 472, 572)

This class takes students beyond the basics of BIM with introductions to phasing, advanced shape making, parametric modeling, and custom family development. The goal is to ground students in good habits and set them up for future project management and job hunting.

REVIT FUNDAMENTALS (ARCH 472, 572)

SCHOOL OF ARCHITECTURE + PLANNING (SA+P)
This class is a fast paced introduction to the fundamentals of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and the ins and outs of Autodesk Revit. Students utilize the program as a design, analysis and communication tool. Basic modeling tactics, material development, annotation, site development, and navigation are all covered throughout the course with the goal of preparing students for utilizing BIM in a workplace environment.
